New Year's Eve in Cape May County

The New Jersey shore offers the perfect setting to those seeking a wonderfully quiet time to close out the year.  The stillness of cold winter nights offer a wonderful backdrop as you begin to contemplate all the promise that 2012 may bring.

Consider a brisk walk on the boardwalk as you imagine the boards filled with summer revelers; visit the lighthouse and think about the lightkeeper who tended to these rescue stations as the winds and cold lapped at the shoreline; cozy up in front of the fireplace at a Select Registry Bed and Breakfast sipping a hot cup of tea; and enjoy a wonderful dinner at many of the fine restaurants in the area.

We would love to welcome you to the Candlelight Inn in North Wildwood, NJ for just such an experience.   Combine your stay with dinner at Gia's, which is just a short walk from the Inn; travel to the south end of our island to Marie Nicole's; or drive off shore to the Blue Claw or many fine restaurants in Cape May, including Tisha's, Washington Inn, and the Merion Inn.  Afterwards, return to the Candlelight Inn to toast your special someone in front of the fire or out at the hot tub.

Until then, we wish you the very best for a wonderful Christmas.  May your wishes come true for Christmas and the New Year.
