Sweet September

Summer is beginning to wind down at the Jersey Shore as everyone starts to focus on the upcoming school year and the busy schedules that "life" brings.  But, for some, it is a time to head to the beach and enjoy the beautiful weather that September brings...... and, to enjoy it without the crowds of summer.

The nice thing is that there are still many activities available and great restaurants to explore.  It really is the perfect combination.  Weekends are busy with festivals and the normal frenzy of the season for those who like that; however, weekdays are the quiet time with the opportunity to spread out on the sand and not have to listen to your neighbor's music.  It is the time that all the locals live for.  And, all that quiet comes with some great values in lodging and activities.

So, if September does not get a hold of you with the whirlwind of school schedules and activities, come on down to the Shore and relax with us at the Candlelight Inn.  There is truly so much more of the season to enjoy.

Atlantic City Air Show and the Cape May Whale Watcher

We just learned of a great way to see the Atlantic City Air Show from the water.  That's right - no traffic and the perfect viewing from the ocean.  The Spirit of Cape May will sail on August 25th from the Miss Chris Marina in Cape May and take you to the show.  For more information about this trip, contact the Cape May Whale Watcher at 800/786-5445.

And, after a great day at sea watching a great show, come home to the Candlelight Inn.
