Signs of Summer at the New Jersey Shore

Signs of summer are growing each and every week here in the Wildwoods.  Easter weekend brought the "official" opening of the boardwalk.  Standing outside, one can hear the familiar sounds of boardwalk rides, barkers, and even the tram car.  One can feel the anticipation of the season to come.

Another sign is that every week more and more restaurants are lighting up and welcoming diners through their doors.  A few weeks ago Maui's Dog House opened up and we have already tasted our favorites.  A favorite, Piro's, will open this weekend and it is yet another sign of the season that we look forward to with great anticipation. 

This weekend will include the Tournament of Bands.  It is a fun competition of high school bands from several states and the Convention Center will be filled with great band music.  If band music is not your thing, Cape May's Spring Festival starts this Friday.  Get out of the winter doldrums and look at beautiful blooms and experience Springtime at the Jersey Shore.

The weather is expected to be great, so come on down and think Summer as you experience Spring at the Jersey Shore.
