Shore towns sponsor craft shows throughout the summer. One of the best ones in our area is the Stone Harbor Art & Craft Show. This event will be on August 4th and 5th at the Stone Harbor Recreation Field, 80th and First Avenues in Stone Harbor.

Cape May County Zoo - Another Great Reason to Visit Cape May County
The Cape May County Park and Zoo is a perfect place for
everyone. This amazing zoo is perfect for animal and nature lovers.
This zoo is also FREE (donations are suggested but
not required) and they have an amazing variety of all types of animals,
reptiles, ducks, etc. It is beautifully shaded as well for those hot
summer days, and there is a lovely picnic area and playground as well right
alongside the parking area. This zoo has something for everyone. Be sure to check out the snow leopards that were born in April.

Maritime Festival at Hereford Inlet Lighthouse
The 2012 Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Maritime Festival is scheduled for Saturday & Sunday, July 7 & 8, 2012, from 9am to 5 pm. The outdoor festival is a celebration of New Jersey's rich maritime history. The events includes a lot of history as well as nautical books, crafts, and art. Festival Admission is FREE with only a $4.00 adult admission to tour the lighthouse. Saturday 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday 9 am to 4 pm, light rain or shine.
Be sure to visit the lighthouse gardens and take a stroll on the seawall while visiting the Festival These are two of my favorite places in North Wildwood.
